indigestion
What a great thing to write about! My indigestion this week has been horrible. Horrible. And more horrible. The only thing I’ve changed is that I’m now taking my Allegra every night, but that’s been for a couple of months. The indigestion, though, just gets worse and worse. I’m hungry, but I don’t want to eat because I don’t want any more pain in my esophagus. I’ve been drinking pickle juice like a mad woman, and that has helped, but I’m running out of pickle juice, and it’s really silly to have 5 jars of pickles with no juice. I really don’t want to resort to the spoonful of vinegar, because I hate the taste of straight vinegar.
But something’s gotta give. It seemed to get this bad for a while around the 2nd or 3rd month of my hormones the first time I was on them, so maybe that’s what’s going on, and maybe it will go away. I sure hope so. I’m miserable from about noon every day until about eight at night.

April 13th, 2006 at 1:36 pmHeh…I tried to click sirkisser’s link, and my company’s web filter denied it. Why? It’s classified as “tasteless.”
April 13th, 2006 at 2:17 pmi might refer to the site as being in BAD taste, but to say it is “tasteless” is a bit much :D

April 14th, 2006 at 10:36 amPrilosec OTC to stop the immediate pain. Small portions of food. Spicy is ok but oily and fatty are very bad (Josh and I have both figured that one out finally. I can eat jalapenos but not if they are fried. And if you are using bell pepper, stop. it makes it really bad. vinegar is good and i hear acidophillus is supposed to be excellent. Get that. I love you and am sorry you have indigestion. Move back to Amarillo and it will get better.

April 14th, 2006 at 9:39 pmOf course if you post a mournful story like that, you’ll get tons of helpful cures. I won’t give you unsolicited advice, I’ll just wish you a settled tummy with all speed.
PAPAYA ENZYME! GAH! I COULDN’T STOP MYSELF! And they taste good too, like less tart sweet tarts.

I had a crazy dream last night that included you and Frank. You went on a trip to South America, mainly Brazil, because it was legal for you to learn how to do trapeze stuff without a net there. My 17 year old nephew accompanied the two of you, having been sent on the trip to straighten him out or teach him some kind of lesson, and he came back with a huge stuffed monkey. He returned to a home in New York when he came back, but IRL he lives in MA with his parents. In talking, I found out he had also been to Europe in the past year, mainly Britain, along the same lines. Of course, he has never been either.
After you returned, you were telling me, and I was accurately visualizing as one can only in a dream, you and Frank being up like 30 feet on little trapeze swings above a dirt floor, no net, getting lessons from someone.
It was utterly absurd.
