April 21st, 2006 at 8:24 pmSorry! Messed up. Sometimes it says my post didn’t go through. Anyway, check all the listings for A/C businesses. Sometimes the smaller ones try harder and are better. Competition is great.
April 21st, 2006 at 8:28 pmCome to west Texas—at least it is dry heat here, and you can retain water if you want!! :-)
April 23rd, 2006 at 4:18 pmOK,..Let’s see,…bikermommy and Aunt Wanda are in west Texas,…close to me,…and sarahk is in Florida…evaporating. But she has hubby Frank there, and that is where his work is. Well, sorry gals, but that’s the way it is. Unless you have a really great and better job for Frank to do in west Texas,..they are probably going to stay in Florida (not a bad place, really,..if you have A/C). I am all for women’s lib. But that doesn’t change the fact that “a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do”. The female half of my life would like to live closer to the “folks”, too. And so would I. But it just isn’t in the cards right now. Such is life. But we stay in close touch,..and get “home” when we can. Ain’t that we don’t luv yens.
