please oh please

let us have Joe Lieberman. i heart him. and apparently so does my President.

8 other musers to “please oh please”

  1. 1
    Walter Says:

Joe Lieberman is better than most in the Dems. Don’t know if he’s cut out for the GOP.

    (Hey am I first?)

  2. 2
    Oddybobo Says:

I like him too, but dislike the fact that when he ran with Gore, he changed his beliefs to be better suited to Gore. Me no likey that! A man should be steadfast in his beliefs and not change them on a dime. Of, course, I like him again since he went back to his old moral ways :)

  3. 3
    AWG Says:

I think Joe Lieberman is a pretty darned fine conservative. He’d probably be more comfortable in the Republican ranks, but he might be afraid of his constituency rejecting such a change. Well, here’s to hoping he comes around, anyhow. :o)

  4. 4
    Laura Says:

I like Mr. Lieberman as well, but was not impressed with his change of beliefs to mesh w/ Algore.
Hey, what is up at your fake evil twins site? What is the flippin’ emergency?

  5. 5
    Walter Says:

On the EvilTwin Site–The weird little SarahKs flying around are different. Don’t think I’ve seen that effect before.

  6. 6
    mech Says:

He seems slightly more moderate at the moment, but I trust him only slightly more than I would McCain. Loyal to the current popular side or that which will benefit themselves most. And the Nation? Yeah, them too.(when the camera is on)

  7. 7
    annoyinglittletwerp Says:

Joe Leiberman’s a mensch-that’s a good thing-but he rationalized his vote against the partial birth abortion ban during the Clinton era with something like “Well I’m against it but I can’t impose my views on others.”
For that reason alone I could never vote for him

  8. 8
    UZI4U (aka MurdockTheCrazy) Says:

If I had to have a dem for prez, I’d go with Lieberman. I don’t really like some of his opinions, but I think there’s just a little bit of a real person left in him, unlike all other dems and quite a few republicans.

But the fact he has a little bit of a soul left is the reason why he’ll never be run for high office by the Dems… Ever.

Then again, he’s the only dem with any chance of winning, so the dems are just gypping themselves of their only chance.

No cussing, no taking the Lord's name in vain. No exceptions.
